How to Plant Your Cactus Cuttings:

• The Trench: Use a small hand pick to dig a little trough in the ground. These are incredibly hardy and will grow in almost any soil, from full sun to shade.

• Placement: Place the cutting on its edge in the trough, with the cut side facing downward. You want about 1/4 to 1/2 of the leaf sticking up out of the sand.

• The Finish: Cover the base with sand and “flood” the area with water immediately after planting. This settles the sand and removes air pockets.

• Wait: That’s it! Walk away and let nature do the work. You should see new growth in about a 3 weeks. Once you see positive growth it really takes care of itself from there.
